Hi there-
My name is Tom and I am told all the time that I am perfect. I LOVE to meet any and all humans. I have so much fun going into stores, going to Canine Coffee Breaks and having people over. My purpose in life is to make people happy by them petting me. I actually get my feelings hurt when people walk by me and do not stop to say hi. But I bounce back quickly b/c there is always someone’s eye I can catch! Little people- I love them and I try to be very sweet and gentle- I just flop down so my tummy can be rubbed. B/c of my size I think little humans 6 and older is best. I have 2 dogs I play with all the time at my foster home- 1 is the same size and 1 is small and feisty. We wrestle and romp and have a good time! Sometimes I forget I am still a baby and get over tired- that is when I take a nice nap in my crate. I love all the bones and split antlers lying around my house- I had to learn that the fiesty dog owns them all but I am allowed one once she chooses her bone. I like balls and am trying to figure out the concept of bring it back- I would much rather throw it around myself. I love car rides and go everywhere with my foster mom. Oh, I really like walks and am getting very good at walking on leash. I am a strong boy so I am trying to not pull much. My foster mom tells me and others that I have perfect house manners. Everyone tells me that I am handsome and such a good boy!
So how did such a perfect boy end up in rescue? When I was little I got hit by a truck and had an injury to my hip. The family I lived with did not do anything but a nice social worker named Tom (my name sake) took me home. I received medical care and had an operation. Since I have been in MN I have been working on building strength and the nice Dr said I am in good shape. I can take walks, play, swim all which helps me get stronger.
I am a wonderful baby boy and I am so excited to find my forever home.
