Are you looking for an extra lineman?  Do you desire your very own beef cake?   Seeking a goofy, lovable dude? Look no further- Charlie is your man!

Charlie is super friendly, social, happy, playful, curious, silly and affectionate young guy.  He loves everyone and is interested in meeting everyone- he will fast waddle over to you to say hi!  Charlie LOVEs his people and does prefer to be with them.  He is learning that he is just fine on his own.  Charlie loves people and loves other dogs- in fact he is reliant on another dog and must be a 2nd or 3rd dog to be successful.  He looks to his foster brother for cues and reassurance.  And of course he LOVES playing with other dogs- tug being his favorite game.  Chase- not so much- his short legs make him slow!!  Charlie loves squeaky toys and chew bones but plush toys that the stuffing come out is the BEST.  So we put treats and the stuffing back in and let his Basset nose go to work!  Charlie enjoys taking walks and is learning to stay to one side – this is where the corgi herding comes in!!!!  Hanging outside taking in the sights, sounds and smells is also a favorite pastime- hence, Charlie needs a fenced yard to explore and play safely in.  Due to him still being a happy puppy and learning where is body is in space (think bull in a china shop) Charlie’s forever home needs to be no children or older children.  Charlie loves to love you and please which will continue to make training and obedience classes fun and successful!

So what do you get with a pup with a long tail, long body but short legs and a big head? You get the cutest, sweetest, funniest low rider ever!  Charlie is a wonderful dude and is ready to begin his life in his forever home!
