Hi I’m Jazzy-

Aren’t I gorgeous! I am an extremely affectionate and people oriented dog.  I try very hard to be a lap dog and will slowly crawl onto anyones lap if they let me.  I was jumping up on people to gently hug them when I first arrived into my foster home, but because I’m so smart, I’ve learned that that some people don’t like that and have stopped.  I’ve also had to learn a few other house rules and am doing so so good.  I am a typical bird dog and I really love outside with all the smells and I can sometimes pull on my leash when I see a small animal, but I am working on it, and so I should only be walked by adults or older teens.  I’m very curious about the hamsters in my foster home and probably should be in a home that doesn’t have small creatures.  My foster mom calls me HOUDINI because I am able to escape out of the fenced in back yard and sometimes my harness.  When I have escaped, I come right back to my humans because, they are my favorite thing in the world.  I am a natural hunter, I would do well with a tall fenced in yard with no gaps I can fit through as I will try to find a way out and sometime I can get stuck. I don’t especially like my kennel, but will go in if you leave a tasty treat toward the back. The resident dog and I have gotten use to each other and now enjoy each others company but I am not into a hyper in your face dog- I like chill dogs!  I could also use a little training as I don’t know many commands, but I am so smart and very anxious to please my human.   I am a really sweet, cool, and loving girl who is ready to find a home that knows and loves setters!
