Meet Bindi!
Who’s ready to take the journey of a true rescue story with Bindi? This sweet girl found herself in the shelter at a young age. The cold cement floors, the loud stressful barking radiating off all the walls, the single foot steps down the kennel rows…. waiting for the one time those footsteps stop in front of her kennel door to open it. After spending months in the shelter, Bindi finally received her freedom ride to Spot’s where she is loving life outside the shelter.
Bindi is a true love- she loves her people. It may take a little bit to trust that new people are good but once she does, she is all in! Bindi is affectionate and loves nothing more than to receive love from her people. She is one of those dogs that will literally give you hugs and wrap her legs around you when snuggling and plant her head on your shoulder when sitting on the sofa. She is a true gem with a heart of gold! Don’t get me wrong… she LOVES her bones and toys also, but nothing compares to the affection of her humans. Bindi loves going for walks and running in the fenced-in backyard. Her zest for life takes her on top of the snowbanks when going for walks. Her tail wags and her happiness shines through when she conquers those snow hills. She is fully potty trained and adjusts nicely to her people’s energy level. She is ready for a walk if you are, but she also loves to kick back and just know that she is near her people and rest the day away.
Because Bindi is on the shy side, younger energetic children would probably be too scary for her. She LOVES dogs! She plays perfectly with them and has zero aggression with food or toys. Bindi has come a long way from the noisy shelter to loving home life. It will take a little time for Bindi to feel comfortable in a new environment. So we’re asking that whoever adopts her, commits to giving her time to learn and grow in your home. If you give her that, she will give you her whole heart. If you’re able to help Bindi continue her life’s journey, we encourage you to apply! She deserves the world… and maybe thats you!
